Our hugely popular Brisbane Corporate Amazing Race is based on the popular TV Show and has been around in Brisbane for over 17 years; we were the first to turn this Amazing Race into the perfect team building event.

Your team must solve puzzles, tasks and clues to receive the Corporate Amazing Race sealed envelope, which contains the information to get you to your next checkpoint. We have also incorporated things like Detours, Roadblocks and Fast Forwards to bring a real strategy to your event (and to help teams sabotage another team). We have a wide range of different tasks & challenges for your team to complete along the course, ranging from logic puzzles to a 30 second cheer routine, and everything in between.

At Tailored Team Building we completely understand that every team is different, therefore every event is different. Either leave the whole event to us, or choose the starting point, the end point or the theming and transport rules around your race, and we will tailor a completely unique race just for you! We work closely with your team in the lead up to your team bonding event to ensure that your Amazing Race is tailored to suit your team, so you get the most out of your event.

So I bet you’re wondering how it all works…..well….let us explain.

Our wonderful hosts will meet your team at the starting point & organise your group into smaller teams. We will play a fun, fast paced warm up game to get everyone in the racing mood, then send everyone on their way. The teams will be given clues that they will need to crack in order to figure out where their next checkpoint is. At each checkpoint, they will be required to complete a variety of challenges / tasks before moving on.

Our Amazing Races are designed to be completed on foot & on average cover approximately 3-5kms of total walking, but, like everything we do, this can be tailored.

Every one of our races is tailored to you and your team. You pick your start location and area. You either pick your finish location or give us an area and we can book your finish venue for you and keep it a secret! That way we can write it into the race as a final Pit Stop for you to work out.

Brisbane City

Brisbane is a fantastic place for an Amazing Race and we would normally span a couple of different regions within the city during a race.  For example, a Fortitude Valley race would normally also include part of Roma Street and the City area.

The range of landscapes through the city is endless making it a great area for either a foot race or a self drive event.

Moreton Bay

Moreton Bay and the surrounding area contains beautiful villages, a stunning coastline and busy business districts giving it all the ingredients for a varied and fun Amazing Race.  Choose a particular area for a classic foot Amazing Race or a wider area for a car based race.

Moreton Bay also has incredible venues to end with drinks and dinner.

Redland

Redland Area offers something truly unique.  With parkland and lakes inland, busy suburbs to the north and all kinds of islands to the east, the area allows us to design fantastic events. A foot race around any of the land, a self drive in the north or imaging a boat based event visiting several of the islands.

The only limit is your imagination.

Ipswich

The area of Ipswich, South West of the city of Brisbane offers a real variety of backdrops and options for an Amazing Race. With two rivers running through the area – the Brisbane River and the Bremer River – and wide open spaces aplenty, the region is perfect for large scale self drive events. While the outer Brisbane suburbs and Ipswich itself are perfect for a classic foot race.

The area known as Logan covers the Brisbane suburbs directly south of the city including Springwood, Loganholme, and Daisy Hill. With lots of parklands & gardens to explore, the area of Logan is a great place to host your next Amazing Race. We can also include local businesses throughout the Logan City Centre to add an extra element into your race.

Located on the Southern Banks of the Brisbane River, Southbank offers the perfect backdrop for your Amazing Race. Featuring stunning river views & an abundance of world-class eateries which are the perfect place to finish your race.

It is also in a great position to offer a variety of transport options, including an easy train ride into the CBD if you are wanting to expand on your race & finish in the Brisbane CBD.

New Farm is also a great place to start your race & include a River Cat journey & finish your race in either the Brisbane CBD or along Southbank. Corporate Amazing Race have been operating the Amazing Race, as well as other race based events, around Australia for over 17 years. We have the experience to organise fantastic group races for 2 people, up to 2000 people!

There are other companies claiming the same thing. The difference is we are still passionate (now more than ever) about the events we plan and run. Our races are continually evolving and getting better! Our directors love traveling around and playing games (we are huge escape room enthusiasts) for two reasons, 1; to have fun and 2; to learn and implement new ideas into our races.

Corporate Amazing Race is part of the Tailored Team Building group, making us big enough to have a true Australia-wide reach, but actively owned and run by the same two directors meaning we have the hands-on passion to really care.  Our directors still personally host as many of our events as possible and have hand picked an amazing team across multiple cities to help!
